Rajkummar Rao selects subjects which are unusual, he is one of such actors who is always up for doing something different and that’s his USP. This time Rajkumma Rao will be seen in Stree, releasing soon after his other outing Fanney Khan. Stree also features Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal characters. The trailer of the romantic comedy yet horror flick is out recently and it’s very nicely made. There are elements of excitement, romance, comedy and nail-biting suspense in the trailer, which signifies that the film has all the right ingredients to capture the attention of the audience, specially the class which goes to multiplexes. The trailer of Stree is a mix of fun and horror, sprinkled with romantic angle over it. Pankaj Tripathi’s dialogues are good, witty and very well written. Rajkummar Rao brings freshness to his character, very unlike from the characters which he played in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Bareilly Ki Barfi or Behen Hogi Teri. Shraddha Kapoor has limited scenes but she looks different in the film – and that’s a positive difference.

The tagline “Mard Ko Dard Hoga” is a different take on film-making after a long time. Background score in Mika Singh’s voice titled “Milegi Milegi” is upbeat and very foot tapping.
