From the first look (poster) of Saqib Malik’s upcoming Pakistani film Baaji, it was obvious that it will not be similar to what other filmmakers are churning out – yes poster says it all, if you’ve the eye.

The teaser of Baaji recently released and it’s not just a visual delight but a lot more. We don’t come across such teasers which are so beautifully, aesthetically and thoughtfully made. The teaser of Baaji features all the characters highlighting their traits, and what to expect from them. Meera as Baaji looks ravishing, effortlessly looks the character she’s playing in the upcoming Pakistani film. Here’s the tease of Baaji, Enjoy!

Teaser: Baaji

Right from the first frame to the last, the teaser takes you on a journey of various individuals’ lives including, Meera, Amna Ilyas, Osman Khalid Butt, Ali Kazmi, and others. Meera looks gorgeous in every frame from the teaser and this character suits her perfectly. The way she says “Love me or hate me but you can never replace me” is amazing.

Amna Ilyas looks promising and from the teaser it looks that she underplays her part, where needed, quite effortlessly.

Osman Khalid Butt and Ali Kazmi look dapper and decent in their respective characters. Baaji also features legendary Nisho Begum, Nayyer Ejaz and the six-packed Pakistani sensation Mohsin Abbas Haider (another finest performer). The cast of Baaji is loaded with promising performers and stars, it is one project from Pakistani cinema which we are really excited about. The film will release in June, 2019.

Baaji is Saqib Malik’s debut Pakistani film, earlier he was part of critically acclaimed The Reluctant Fundamentalist as second unit director (Pakistan). From the teaser it is unmistakable that Saqib Malik is here to stay and should make more films of such fine production value along with the way he has captured the scenes. Story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by Irfan Ahmed Urfi and Saqib Malik.
