The most happening award function of Pakistani drama, film and fashion industry, Hum Awards 2019 just happened in Houston days back and as always it was a star-stuffed affair. From all the superstars of the industry, prodigies and the moviegoers crowd wanted to make full out of this jam-packed event. Moreover, sizzling performances entertained the masses and the standout performers of the last year were given awards based on their meritorious show.

The celebrities also tried to make their style-statement with wearing the best outfit from their collection, and many seem to live it up to the hype. On the other hand, some celebrities style’ backfired or it wasn’t that enough to grasp the critics on their side. Here’s what we think of the best and worst dressed stars from the eve:

Iqra Aziz

You don’t get to hear Iqra fighting her way to standout every other day as she is someone made for it.  This time around she worked rightly on the mantra of wearing Nomi Ansari’s designer clothes on the award function as its too mainstream to make you look good.  But it didn’t work either as the ruffles and that green-theme made it look a dress for some fairytale party. Some critics even commented over Iqra donning this dress to lookalike Desi Barbie – though we don’t think the very same.

Hania Amir

The plum net saree and those open-hair dos’ were all good to be the show-stellar but they weren’t meant for Hania.  That’s because her already naturally bright complexion got some extra brightness with these colors and it seemed like HD bulb offering few extra lumens.

Kubra Khan

The sort of charismatic personality Kubra Khan has got should actually get doubled with wearing black. But that didn’t happen at least at Hum Tv Awards 2019. So, what actually got wrong? The light greyish color she had ensembled with the black made her look an ultimate effort to look Batwoman, which was actually not the case.

Asim Azhar

Asim rather than wearing tuxedos or wearing embellishments settled on a wise man’s quote less is more. He simply wore Shalwar Kameez and utilized it rightly with cladding a stole which had ‘I love Kashmir’ embossed on it. What was even better for him to stand tall was Kashmir’s flag tied on his right shoulder. He availed the moment to the fullest and showed his utmost feelings for Kashmir and Kashmiris in particular.

Sarah Khan

Sarah Khan is all over the drama screens and with her latest outing, she just proved her elegance makes her way to the limelight. The star drama actress went with her middle-Eastern look as she wore Peshwa in beige, white and gold colors.

Reema Khan

The ageless Reema Khan also made the mark with Peshwa in white color and gold embellishment upon it. The gold earrings and her purse also matched the flow and made her way amongst the best-dressed celebrities at this prestigious event once again.
