Saand Ki Aankh Promises To Be A Bull’s Eye By Anurag Kashyap

Imagine the fireworks when two brilliant actresses are joined together who are known to opt for most challenging and contrasting characters i.e. Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar – Saand Ki Aankh, the upcoming Anurag Kashyap film’s teaser has just launched and it’s every bit engaging, entertaining and enthralling. Saand Ki Aankh (i.e. Bull’s Eye) is directed by Tushar Hiranandani (known for his screenplays for Masti, Dhamaal and ABCD series). The film is based on the true life incidents of real life women Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar who became the most celebrated, famed and oldest sharpshooters at the age of 50 and went up to winning 352 medals. From the teaser we can only say “WOW” this looks fantabulous, from background score to dialogues and punchlines and from get-ups of Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar to their accents and dialects this teaser is a treat to watch. Saand Ki aankh features Prakash Jha, Viineet Kumar and Shaad Randhawa in key roles.

The title track Udta Teeta is highlight of the tease and it’s beautifully sung; the music is hard hitting and very catchy. Loaded with strong vocals which has a dash of rawness along with high pitch – it’s a sure shot hit. From the entire package of the teaser it feels that the film will be largely welcomed and be anxiously awaited by audience which appreciate real content centric cinema with overdose of cultural elements in the film.
