Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 has all the ingredients to become a hit film at the box office, it has the star element attached to it in the name of Sanjay Dutt, a sexy damsel in the face of Chitrangada Singh and its staple cast including Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahi Gill. Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is not only shot in India but in London as well, which is an alien thing for the franchise. Will this newness in the script and storytelling work at the box office to capture the attention of more viewers and audience? Let’s find out.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 Trailer

The story of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 revolves around imprisoned Saheb (Jimmy Sheirgill) his politically stronger Biwi (Mahi Gill) and a new addition in their marital relationship Gangster (Sanjay Dutt). What happens when Sanjay Dutt returns to India after a brief encounter with Mahi Gill, is what Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster about. This time, Gangster is a man of upright character and doesn’t think from him pants, unlike previous two installments.

Performance wise, Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahi Gill stands out, rest of the cast look lethargic and uninterested in the movie. It’s such a pity that a franchise with such amazing two previous parts fails big time on performances, and story telling. Sanjay Dutt looks huge but soulless in many scenes. His scenes with Chitrangada are weakest. Chitrangada Singh also misses the mark and doesn’t look the character.

Deepak Tijori, Kabir Bedi and Nafisa Ali are all below average in terms of performances. Dialogues are strictly okay, however Jimmy and Mahi get the best lines – and they deserve those as they deliver them with class and conviction. Music of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is close to bad and doesn’t impress anyone. Direction wise, SBG 3 is decent but it cannot save the film’s fate. Unfortunately Tigmanshu Dhulia fails to pull this third part smartly.

The film doesn’t offer much and it can easily be skipped, watch it for Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahi Gill, minus these two character, it has nothing substantial to offer.
