Recently Wajahat Rauf made Pakistan’s first ever web-series Enaaya for Eros Now, with Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Asad Siddiqui etc. but unfortunately it didn’t receive any appreciation in terms of quality and creativity. Wajahat Rauf is back with anther film Chhalawa with the same cast in main leads and the teaser of which has recently released. Wajahat Rauf’s previous 2 films Karachi Se Lahore and Lahore Se Aagey received good response from the masses and managed to do decent at the box office comparatively. Let’s see what Wajahat’s third film offers to cine-goers. Here is the teaser of Mehwish Hayat, Azfar Rehman, Asad Siddiqui and Zara Noor Abbas starrer Chhalawa:

Chhalawa Teaser:

From the teaser it looks like Chhalawa is a family drama with a high dose of romance and comedy. The teaser looks bright, vibrant, colorful and full of emotional bursts. Mehwish Hayat looks good, fresh and charming as usual. There is one dialogue of hers which she delivers very well and it seems like her accent will be something to look out for. Zara Noor Abbas is looking cute in the teaser. Sets are good as well.
Chhalawa will release on Eid Ul Fitr and will be competing with Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi starrer “The Legend Of Maula Jatt” and Paray Hutt Love (hopefully). Let’s see which film will win the hearts of Pakistani audience and which film will lead at the box office.
