Dunk Episode 27 Review: Dragged and underwhelming episode
As mentioned before the previous episode of Dunk was thrilling but tedious, this episode is worse more tedious and underwhelming. It is no more thrilling. Safeer and Haider is making rounds at each other’s places. God Knows which spell Amal has done to Haider’s father that despite knowing and seeing everything clearly he is persistent to support Amal at any cost. Why? No one does that. Safeer too clearly sees Haider not guilty and also his expressions are saying loudly that deep inside he is convinced that his brother has not committed any heinous sin but still he is not questioning Amal but blindly supporting him why?
The Plot loses its base with so many flaws, one of the biggest is why not anyone questioning Amal why not anyone wondering that why, why Haider who was so passionately supporting Amal leaves her, no one wonders why Haider refused to marry her? Why these questions are not bothering Safeer? Why he is not getting worried when Haider tells him to wonder why he once used to strongly support Amal and then he has left her? Instead of thinking on these lines he is blindly supporting his wife making it as a matter of his ego.
Haider’s father cruel behavior to his wife is again making no sense, instead of questioning his niece he starts blaming his wife for raising her son poorly. The poor lady has to bear Amal’s torturous looks and taunts too. Amal is all getting stronger and is glorifying with all her evilness which is so disturbing its been so long already 27 episode down, they have shown Amal been glorified for such long period of screen time. We really want to see her getting exposed and punished by now. However by watching the promos it seems like the makers are still planning to drag the play for further episodes and it is so heart breaking to see Haider backing off and pleading Amal. For me this thriller has lost all its charms and it has turned tedious. The play must get wrapped by now. It seems that Haider’s dialogues has somehow melted his father’s heart but he is still persistent to stand against him again making no sense at all.
