Amreli Steels – Aapki Tarha Solid
The right kind of advertising can do wonders; both in sales and putting across a point or brands’ vision. When we create an ad we need to think about the persona of the brand, the message that it aims to deliver and the target audience that it wants to attract. Keeping all these elements with creative zing and dynamic storytelling is nothing but a calculated art. In Pakistan, we are often presented with advertisements that rely hugely on fun elements but life is not fun, it’s a combination of multiple emotions. Brands that try to inculcate quality elements that are relatable are far and few; and so are the ads that capture your attention. One of such well-thought and the realistically written ad is of Amreli Steels, and today in Ads In Review, I’ll share my thoughts about the same ad.
Amreli Steels DVC
The DVC of Amreli Steels hits the bull’s-eyes, making sure it conveys the message without being deviated. The DVC of Amreli Steels features veteran Shabbir Jan and talented Hajra Yamin that takes viewers to a journey that every lower-middle class to the middle-class individual has witnessed in their lives while growing up. Life is a combo of hardships, struggles, being persistent, relief, and principles. Those who stick to principals might be fewer in number but they definitely are worth respecting and appreciating. Amreli Steels DVC highlights and celebrates those who stick to values and moralities.
The beauty of the DVC of Amreli Steels lies in the simplistic storytelling, effective and meaningful content, phrases that are well penned and nicely integrated throughout the ad and effective background music. Besides the performances, these elements actually uplift any advertisement. Zaheeruddin (director) makes sure that the message is conveyed with extreme focus and he manages to highlight the fine detailings needed to make an impact right from the first frame to the last. The quality of production (by iDCreations) also deserves a pat at the back for keeping it relevant and realistic.
A good ad should always communicate the values and elements that the brand relies on and Amreli Steels DVC fulfills the criteria. Hats off to the entire team behind this DVC! It is great to witness such ads that talk about real life struggles that a common man goes through and creating a universe around the right message is definitely not easy but this ad wins the hearts by incorporating all those right elements.
Hope to see more of such ads in the future to come out of Pakistan. After all, the Pakistani advertising industry desperately needs creative, eloquent, quality-centric and genuine ads.
