Bromance have always been considered as one of the most integral part of Bollywood right from Amitabh-Shashi, Jackie-Anil, Akshay-Saif and recently Ranveer-Arjun but none of those were executed the way Kartik and Sunny have portrayed their parts in this film. It’s a new age film and showcases the bromance with slight difference that is easy to relate with younger audience.

Kartik Aaryan is in complete form, he steals the show in almost every scene, even when he is standing idol in a scene his body language is supremely powerful. Kartik needs to do more films he has the flair and spontaneity which Akshay Kumar had in his early days. Nushrat Bharucha looks sexy, sweet and does justice with her character. She is stronger than strong in terms of performance. Sunny has a few scenes where he shows his emotional side, and he is terrific in them all. Isha Sharma adds zing and vivaciousness with decent performance.

The surprise package of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is undoubtedly Alok Nath, the adarshwaadi bauji has transformed in to dada-jee who use cuss words like water and is very volatile. Alok nath is fantastic as Ghasita mal and his scenes are gems. Special mention for the actor who played the character of Babu, he is superb.

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety banks on its great performances by all the main leads, background score and the fresh dialogues which engage audiences, have repeat value, and are very strongly written. The script of SKTKS is brilliant and offers many clap-worthy dialogues. The music of the film is already hitting the chart busters. A few of the dialogues which are praise-worthy include:

  • Ladki aur dosti mein hamesha Ladki he jeet ti hai,
  • Raakhi ki keemat tum kia jaano Ghasita Mal babu,
  • Main poora nahin parrraha tujhe?
  • Halwayee hain hum, pregnant baad mein karaingay, mota pehlay kardaingay

It’s a must watch for those who appreciate 2 and a half hours of entertainment with all the essential ingredients. It is not anything similar to Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Saajan or Dewana Mastana; it’s unique and it’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
