Raqeeb Se Episode 11 Review: Spark rekindles between Maqsood and Sakina
Raqeeb Se with 11 episodes down, the play is getting more stronger and interesting. Besides loving this beautiful fictional world Bee Gul and Kashif Nisaar has set in for us, we are extremely curious to know the back stories of each and every character of the play be it even Rafiq Ali or Abdul. Apart from the brilliant character crafting, the beauty with which the emotion of love has been portrayed we hardly see this in our plays. In this episode we have seen the emotions rekindling between Maqsood Sahab and Sakina.
The highlight of this episode is the scene between Sakina and Maqsood Sahab in Maqsood Sahab’s room, where he in a moment of passion and anger is shaking Shakina asking her the reason why she has made him and herself suffer all the life. The pain of unrequited love is clearly visible from Maqsood Sahab and Sakina’s eye lock, brilliantly performed! Your heart goes out for Hajra, God the woman is so deprived of love all her life because of Sakina but still she likes her and welcomes her not because Maqsood Sahab loves her also because she empathizes her too as a woman. She seems a woman too good to be true but Hajra has made us all fall in love with her. She is setting an example of unconditional compassion and support every husband dreams to have in his wife.
Insha’s character is getting more powerful and strong. She thinks Maqsood Sahab as her father (maybe he is her real father however it is not cleared but according to a few hints it seems that Insha is Hajra’s daughter from another father) watching him give importance to Ameera and neglecting her all the time. Still, Insha’s reaction is not as stronger as it should be in normal case. She is just like her mother empathizing Sakina too. Well one wonders why and how she fell in for a loser like Abdul? Sometimes she too like her mother seems too good to be true. Ameera is an annoying opportunist who is now getting on the nerves of the viewers too.
