Ranjha Ranjha Kardi is one of those Pakistani TV dramas from HUM TV which has an engaging story and it is decently building up the plot and the characters which it depicts. In the first episode of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, main characters were introduced by giving them ample time and exposure. In the second episode, the character of Bhola (Imran Ashraf) is introduced. The way the character is penned, it looks that the liberty in writing has been taken a bit that’s probably one of the reasons why he doesn’t look all in all a retard but has some senses in him. Enough sensible to not only travel on his own but also has the ability and interest to make a pass at the beautiful girl i.e. Noori (Iqra Aziz).

The way Bhola’s character is shaping up seems interesting anyhow, so let’s wait and watch what this particular character has in store for the viewers and how is this character essential for the plot of drama. Noori, in the second episode, is sent to her house in village by Qudsia so that she can spend the weekend with her family. When she arrives her village she is spotted by Noor Ul Hassan who is shown a widowed and in his younger days eloped a younger girl from the village. Noor’s character is a definite villain (from the look of it). Noor, after seeing Noori, wants to know more about her and for this he also visits her place with her father.

Direction by Kashif Nisar is really good as he keeps the very minute detailing under focus and this engages the audience, letting them understand the characters of the drama Ranjha Ranjha Kardi. Similarly, the script by Faiza Iftikhar is nicely written and it is packed with some brilliant dialogues which are realistic and easy to relate.

Ranjha Ranjha Kardi is one of those dramas which is pacing up with the 2nd episode, although it looks a little under-cooked but all in all a good and engaging script so far.
