Phaans the drama serial airing at Hum TV is successfully carrying the suspense element, a very well written plot by Samina Aijaz. The writer did a commendable job in crafting intriguing characters, the characters of suspected culprits are crafted with such a mastery that no character seems predictable or entirely hateable or likeable except Siraaj Sahab who seems a thorough evil character. The suspense continues in this episode as well and the mystery of who did it remains unraveled.

As we have seen in previous episode Zeba getting pregnant. Now her pregnancy will going to be a solid proof and it will eventually help in leading to the actual culprit. Although Zeba is continuously accusing Sahil and being a victim we want to believe her but its so hard to believe that he can commit such a thing. However we cannot simply dismiss Zeba’s claims. Siraaj Sahab’s manipulative attempts makes him the most suspicious character. He uses all his tactics to silence Zeba. However Zeba is being strong and persistent to get justice for herself and she convinces her mother to help her in using her pregnancy as  a proof in front of the Police. Altoough in this episode Zeba could not meet Inspector Sahab. Her sister’s character remains the most useless and annoying one.

The other twist in the play is Samad’s slip of tongue when he names Zeba in front of her mother saying that he loves her later he tries to cover it. Samad’s fiance gets to know through her servant that Samad is being curious about Zeba’s whereabouts. Her doubts on Samad seems true to her and on top of that Samad in a hysteric manner admits to her that he loves Zeba and it is he who has done all that to her and it is he who tries to trap Sahil. Well this confession may not be true and Samad may have done it out of frustration but strange thing is that his fiance believed him. She actually  thinks that Samad has committed that rape. Well Hashim looks suspicious too. Wondering where this all leads to? Hoping that Zeba’s pregnancy will eventually break the suspense.
