Mashreq Appoints Irfan Lodhi as CEO of Mashreq Pakistan
Mashreq, a leading financial institution in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, recently announced the appointment of Irfan Lodhi as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Mashreq Pakistan. In his role, Irfan Lodhi will be responsible for establishing Mashreq as a key player in Pakistan’s finance sector. Irfan Lodhi brings over 20 years of experience in retail banking, payments, digital banking, digital development, and SME business across multinational financial institutions and geographies. He has held numerous leadership positions in digital strategy at leading banks in the UAE and Pakistan, making him an expert in digital transformation.
Mashreq’s Vision for the Future With the recent approval from the State Bank of Pakistan to set up a digital bank in the country, Irfan’s expertise will enable Mashreq to progress as a leader in the finance sector.
