Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay Episode 2 Review
The second episode of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay aired recently, the story progresses at a decent pace. Every character’s layer is revealed in a manner that looks somewhat relatable and realistic. We cannot shrug off the fact that beneath every one of us is a darker shade of ourselves. The second episode highlighted this very notion very strongly. There is also a sweet dose of budding romance, but it is left a little hazy. The romantic angle between the characters is nicely placed. The true colors of Mashal (Kubra Khan) are exposed in a few scenes. Kubra Khan smartly brings those expressions on her face but at times she overdoes them and they look forced.
The character of Usman Mukhtar, Aswad, is yet to show his shades and preferences; so far, Aswad is kind of oblivious to what games Mashal is playing with him. Scenes of Mahira Khan with Haroon Shahid are well-penned and the execution is pretty good. The relationship between Mahira and her mother, Laila Wasti, is depicted maturely. Mahira Khan’s outburst on her grandmother is worth the watch. There are a few interesting scenes that are presented very realistically, one of them is where Ali Tahir and Zainab Qayum talk about Mashal’s and Aswad’s engagement.
Overall, the 2nd episode of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay was an interesting watch.
