Green Pakistan Fest 2019 – All You Need To Know About #GPF2019

Karachi is the city of lights and in the city of lights we need to have nature secured to make its environment better and healthier for the residents. One of the biggest concerns in todays time is that there is lack of greenery and it is about time that we, the residents of Karachi, start paying attention to Karachi’s environment. PSO has recently organized a 3 day event Green Pakistan Fest 2019 (#GPF2019) from 22nd to 24th of March which offered food, music and fun filled activities for family. The event was held at Beach Park Clifton and many singers performed in Green Pakistani Fest 2019.

Ali Azmat, Natasha Baig, Sahara UK, Tamasa, Darvesh, Rafay Israr, Alycia Dias and many other singers and musicians performed live at #GPF2019 in the span of three days. Audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances of them all. Such events are very significant for the residents of Karachiites. Besides musical performances there was circus for kids as well. Many families attended Green Pakistan Fest 2019 and enjoyed their time with their loved ones.

The entire idea behind this activity and event was to plant more trees in Karachi so that Karachi can become cleaner and greener. On 23rd March 2019, professionals from KPMG, Farmwell Ltd and PSO had a session where Mr. Jehangir Ali Shah, MD & CEO, PSO, said this about the initiative:

“The Green and Clean Pakistan campaign’s aim is to make Pakistan pollution free and counter the effects of climate change. We need to save the planet for our future generations. We also need to conserve water and protect our environment. Clean and Green Pakistan is a behavioral change movement which involves rethinking our relationship with nature. I appreciate this initiative and the organizer for their efforts towards green and clean Pakistan.”

Green Pakistan Fest 2019 got trended on Twitter in Pakistan with the hashtag #GPF2019 with the magnanimous impressions and reach of more than 18 million. Plus the hashtag got trended in Pakistan for hours.
