Dunk is not different than any other ARY digital play. It is quite an intense watch, despite of  being an excellent thriller and brilliant performances, the recent addition of sensational spice in the plot seems so ugly. One wonders it is really important to show Amal stooping so low or is it necessary to show such height of manipulation? Amal has master planned flawlessly a jaw dropping scene. Such flawless planning and a girl having no scruples is what makes Amal’s character a hard to believe one. Why does makers need to show Amal that much empowered? A girl having no moral compass, a girl who knows well how to turn people and situations to her interest is now making her own family life a hell. By crafting such characters and showing them empowered for so long at screens isn’t it glorification of this extreme manipulation?

The play must be wrapped in couple of next episodes as dragging a play unnecessarily is not doing justice to the story and its brilliant performances. The recent addition in the play is Amal’s recreation of exact same situation of what she has done with Professor Hummayun. Amal executes her plan with such perfection and  her timing of that whole scene, all appears over dramatized and far from reality. The reactions by the family is normal but gathering of all people on the spot at the same time seems too filmy.

Haider is reliving professor Humayyun’s fate but it seems that his end will not be same like Professor as Minaal has given us no clues that either she is convinced with Amal’s drama and crocodile tears or not? Hoping that reopening of the case will going to put Amal in hot waters and her recent cheap stunt  will going to weaken her position more. Our heart goes out for poor Haider. Will Minaal going to believe Amal or she will go by her heart and observation. It seems that Minaal has already sensed that there is something fishy going with Amal. Whatever will be the case, this play needs to get wrapped now, hoping that story will not get stretched and cooked with all sensational Masalas. We are eagerly waiting for the next inquiry session meeting and case reopening.
