Cheekh is definitely turning out to be very interesting. The drama is well-penned, besides somewhat similar to the plot of Meenakshi Shehshadri’s much talked about and critically acclaimed 90’s film Damini, from which the dialogues of Sunny Deol are very famous. Anyhow, the seventh episode of Cheekh unfolds many interesting scenes and the plot twists and turns are engaging. Although the last 5 – 7 minutes of the 7th episode were what you may call a little stretched and unneeded but that’s probably the way makers want to present it.

Bilal Abbas excels in his character and showcases more than what audiences were expecting. He’s simply revelation. Bilal’s scenes with Saba Qamar are nicely shot, and he makes sure he makes a lasting impact in all those scenes. Even when he visit Noorul Hasan’s house and talks with his wife, he portrays right kind of expressions. Noorul Hasan continues to astonish his audience with realistic and impeccable performance, he is doing complete justice with the character and is the most strongest character and performer hands down. Saba Qamar is also raising the bar high with brilliant performance. She never seizes to impress he fans and in Cheekh she is spot on. The way she responds to Bilal Abbas’s wrath in the last few minutes of the 7th episode is remarkable and only seasoned actors has the ability to do what she did!

Aijazz Aslam stays in his character and performs very well. His interaction with Bilal Abbas effective and he looks genuine in the scene. Rest of the cast also does well.

Dialogues of Cheekh are consistently good throughout, and writers must be appreciated for the engaging, impactful and entertaining script.
