Back in 90’s Bollywood produced some entertaining and naughty songs which instantly got super hit and became chart-busters; one of such songs was Aankh Maare from Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited’s first movie titled Tere Mere Sapne which introduced Chandarchur Singh and Arshad Warsi. It won’t be wrong to say that Tere Mere Sapne was one of the most hilarious and cleanly written films to come out of ABCL which also performed fairly well as the box-office giving its main lead actors a good Launchpad. Exactly 22 years later, the king of explosive masala entertainers, Rohit Shetty brings back the famous song from 1996 Aankh Maare” for his upcoming film Simmba.

This time Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan will be seen shaking their legs on the song which was originally filmed on Arshad Warsi and Simran. Mika Singh and Neha Kakkar have sung the song which was sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy. The remix of Aankh Maare from Simmba is released today and it’s introduced by Karan Johar in the view as

“Oh God! One More Remix?”

The entire video is fun to watch and the choreography is good as well. Both Ranveer and Sara look fresh in the song, they dance well and add entertainment too as well. Rohit Shetty smartly includes his Golmaal team in the song, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshaar Kapoor plus the original Aaankh Maare “Baalu” (character name from Tere Mere Sapne) Arshad Warsi. And the way Warsi moves his legs, even today, with Kumar Sanu’s vocals is something to look out for.

Those who grew up watching Arshad Warsi’s most famous song Aankh Maare will surely be surprised and dance along him on this number. It’s a refreshing video and it delivers what the song promises – total entertainment.

Those who love Indian Cinema and are Bollywood Buffs, can spot Ranveer Sing doing Shakti Kapoor’s step in the song too – it’s good to see someone appreciating the veteran comedian/villain of Bollywood.

By the way one can look Golmaal’s signature step in Aankh Maare and this gives the impression that soon Golmaal 5 will release too.
