Mizmaar Pop Rock Fusion Band

Mizmaar is a South Asian fusion band and needs no introduction. Formed by guitarist Kashan Admani, fusion pop-rock band Mizmaar rose to fame in their native Pakistan with their debut album Kash, the release producing two hit singles for the songs ‘Kash’ and ‘Laut Ke Aa’ in 2003. Their second album, Sitara, was released worldwide on Universal Music in 2007, and spawned the hits ‘Hai Pyar Kya’ and ‘Sitara,’ the latter landing on a soundtrack to the Hollywood film ‘Dragon War.’

Recently the band of boys has announced their comeback, officially, music lovers are much excited as they’ll be seeing and listening to the new episodes of musical fusion by Mizmaar after an interval of 7 long years. Fans of Mizmaar are not just limited to one part of the world and when the band was in full swing, it had a great fan following and that is expected to grow multiple folds, with their re-launch.

This time listeners will be introduced to a fresh addition in Mizmaar i.e. the vocalist – Masshad Sharyar. One of the key reasons why Kashan Admani and Alfred D’mello (guitarist and drummer, respectively) have decided to make a comeback is Mashhad – according to both the young singer is super talented. Mashhad Sharyar is a Karachiite and received his education from Karachi. He is a genuinely trained vocalist with a passion to excel in the music industry. Kashan and Alfred met Mashhad at their recording studio and after listening him they immediately decided to add him to Mizmaar as lead vocalist.

Alfred D’mello says, “Jee Loonga was jointly penned by Mashhad, Kashan, and I. We had a fusion sound in mind for the song since the very establishment when Kashan first came up with the intro groove. Jee Loonga is a track about optimism, the chances and jeopardies that people face in life and the efforts made to reorganize ones’ self after multiple disappointments, and trusting in self irrespective of what people say. With the promotion of this first song after 7 years we are really thrilled to present the very gifted, versatile, fresh and new voice of the band, Mashhad Sharyar, who just fits in perfectly with the new sound of Mizmaar”.
