It would not be an exaggeration if we say that Pakistani drama industry is passing through good times, if not golden. With improved and fine quality drama productions, intriguing plots, brilliant directions and incredible performances, it seems that Pakistani drama  industry is excelling every passing day. Here are three not to be missed drama serials of Geo TV, all three are produced by 7th Sky Productions. Despite being over all the top, these plays are successful in hooking viewers to the screens.

Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3

Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 with its star-studded cast is one of its first kind of a mega production which has received massive views. It is said that its views have surpassed the mega-hit serial Mere Paas Tum Ho, although I believe that in terms of story telling Mere Pass Tum Ho is still a better play. Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 having Feroze Khan and Iqra Aziz in the lead is enough reason to be a super hit besides its larger than life landscape and expensive production. Based on Hashim Nadeem’s script, Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 is the third season. Its seems a classic love story of Farhad and Mahi set in a feudalistic Peer household, where Mahi is the Syedzaadi and Farhad belongs from a very humbling background. It’s a must watch play as it has managed to worth its hype, performances by Iqra and Feroze are impeccable and story is intriguing.

Fitoor

Fitoor is another 7th Sky Production with Faysal Qureshi in the lead along with Kiran Malik, Wahaj and Hiba Bukhari. The play is based on extra marital love affairs. It has beautifully portrayed how unrequited love, and how getting into a loveless marriage results in extra marital affairs. Despite of many directional flaws the play still makes us crave for another episode.

Qayamat

Its a full on OTT typical Geo TV play with a typical story line. The only interesting factor in this play is its character Rashid brilliantly played by Ahsan Khan. His sole performance is what makes that average script play interesting. It has Neelum Munir in its lead, along with the blue eyed boy Haroon Shahid and Amar Khan. The story is now based on Ifra ( Neelum Munir) who was engaged and in love with Rashid’s brother Jawad but now she is married to her brother in law Rashid and she is taking revenge from him for his ill behavior with her dead sister. Qayamat too is an interesting watch.
