Faysal Quraishi started his career in Pakistani films and dramas when he was a kid but his debut movie as the leading man was Sazaa, opposite Nargis, directed by Ashraf Shirazi. Faysal took a long gap from films after doing a handful of films in Lollywood and turned to TV for good. Faysal Quraishi’s turning point was Khalil Urrehman Qamar’s Boota from Toba Tek Singh. The drama was immensely loved by the masses and the classes. Then started a new beginning for Faysal Quraishi with Chandpur Ka Chandu and then Main Aur Tum the list is endless. The good thing is that Faysal Quraishi will again be seen on celluloid under the direction of Sohail Javed in their upcoming film Sorry: A Love Story.

The press conference of “Sorry” was held last week in Karachi and the entire cast was present along with many other celebrities and media fraternity. Legendary actor Nadeem Baig was also present at the event. Plus, modern day superstars like Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa also showed up at the Press Conference. Mohib Mirza, Adnan Siddiqui, Samina Pirzada, Wajahat Rauf, Abdullah Kadwani, Bilal Maqsood, Aijaz Aslam and Asma Nabeel along with many other celebrities were also present there.

Sorry is a romantic drama which will have Faysal Quraishi, Sonya Hussyn, Aamina Sheikh and Zahid Ahmed in pivotal roles. The plot of the film will be about love, how people find love, lose it and rediscover it again. With a director like Sohail Javed and co-written by Asma Nabeel one can expect an interesting film to hit Pakistani Cinema. With an ensemble cast which is known for performance and glamour, Sorry is expected to be a promising film.
