Pakistan’s Cultural Depiction At Dubai Design Week
Dubai Design Week is all about culture and its portrayal to the world. Dubai Design Week has come up with the most beautiful idea, ABWAB for displaying the works of amazingly talented studious, designers and curators from six different countries of MENASA including Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordon, UAE and Kuwait. The idea is to promote the designs and works of different designers and artists under one theme that is Games: The Element of Play in Culture. Games played as a nation are integral part of the roots of a culture and a country. They portray the true picture of the people of that country. The ABWAB brings together the diversity of cultures of different countries of the region while showcasing beautiful works of designers which in its own form are an example of artwork.

Pakistan is blessed with unusually talented artists and designers. People who have made architecture and design into an art form. Countless artists and designers have showcased the impressive and ostentatious pieces of creativity within Pakistan and internationally as well. Now designers of Pakistan have this amazing opportunity to showcase their talent through their awesome work at the Dubai Design Week which takes place from the 26th October to 31st October 2015 at Dubai Design District – D3. Collectibles, a famous Swiss-Luxury watches agents & distributor, have introduced the art works and designs of 8 talented designers of Pakistan in Dubai Design Week. Hats off to Collectibles for promoting Pakistan’s brilliant artists in front of the entire world through this amazing Design Week that is held in one of the most prominent and buzzing cities of the world – Dubai.

It is amazing when a brand portrays and promotes the positive image of its country worldwide. Attendees have thoroughly appreciated the artworks and designs presented under Daalaan (Urdu: Hub/center of things surrounded by all in a house; English: Antechamber). “Kancha”, “Ludo” and “Henna screen prints” are just a few names which are featured by Pakistani designers and artist in Dubai Design Week.
