Sony Pictures Soorma reminds of Farhan Akhtar’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Salman Khan’s Sultan. The trailer features Diljit Sosanjh, Tapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and others. Here is the trailer of the film:

Trailer: Soorma

Soorma has all the right elements which Diljit needs at this point in his career, a film which has the power to make an impact. From comedy to romance and from dialogues to expressions, the canvas of Soorma looks vast. Diljit was appreciated in Udta Punjab, earned applaud in Sajjan Singh Rangroot but terribly failed at Welcome To New York because of weak script and amateurish treatment. Soorma looks very promising for Diljit Dosanjh.

Tapsee Pannu is another versatile actress and she has gained her popularity as well, in the “class audience”. It will be good to see them both face to face in the upcoming film. Kulbhushan Kharbanda, the veteran, proves that he still has the power to bring down the audience with his unique performance style. Even in Azhar, where he had a very limited score, he played a Hyderabadi and he was loved by the viewers. Let’s hope and wish Soorma manages to do amazing at the box office.
