Parwaaz Hai Junoon – Flying High On Expectations

Pakistani film industry is experiencing a he shift in the filmmaking style. There are filmmakers who are keen to make films which are loaded with masala, brainless comedies which are blindly following Bollywood and then there are some who are working on good content and trying their best to make quality oriented movies with pseudo-intellectual take; besides these there are a few who are inclined to make patriotic films – Pakistani cinema is experiencing diversification irrespective of the fate of the films released. Parwaaz Hai Junoon is a fresh breeze of uniqueness for multiple reasons; that is evident from its trailer which released last week. Let’s see what makes this trailer fly high!

Trailer: Parwaaz Hai Junoon

Hamza Ali Abbasi is one of the most influential social media celebrities from Pakistani film industry and his roles are mostly remembered by his fans and general cine-goers; whether it’s Main Hoon Shahid Afridi, Waar or JPNA, Hamza always did justice with his character and won the show. In the trailer of Parwaaz Hai Junoon, Hamza looks fresh and in complete form. He is shown as a lover boy, a patriot and a trusted friend. There seems to be multiple shades in Hamza Ali Abbasi’s character. The performance margin is very good and it seems that this will be one of his most difficult roles because of the wavelength of the character.

Hania Amir looks cute in the trailer of PHJ and she at the same time is given with some power packed and solid dialogues. He expressions are on point be it her response to Hamza Ali Abbasi at the wedding or Ahad Raza Mir during the training. Hania’s response to Farhan Aly Agha’s question in the starting of the trailer is well-penned and she delivers it with conviction.

Ahad Raza Mir, debuting in film world with PHJ, is the upcoming sensation of entertainment world, just like his father (Asif Raza Mir – in his earlier days), Ahad is loved by female audience and performs very well. In the trailer of Parwaaz Hai Junoon, Ahad looks dapper and very stylish. A few punchlines which are given to him, he delivers them with effortlessness and persuasion. Shazz Khan is one of the finest actors from Pakistani cinema; this can be proved through the choices he made in the past, from Moor to Dobara Phir Se he tried to jump from one character specification to another with gusto. Even in the trailer of Parwaaz Hai Junoon with just two lines, Shazz manages to excite his fans because of the ease he brings.

Kubra Khan looks gorgeous and elegant in the trailer. It’s a delight to watch Asif Raza Mir’s speech in the trailer at the end; he is one impeccable actor who has always impressed his audience no matter what sort of character he’s given with. Parwaaz Hai Junoon will be the first film to feature father-son duo on silver screen.

The trailer of Parwaaz Hai Junoon seems nice, to the point and loaded with romance, friendship and patriotism. Dialogues are strength of the trailer and are placed nicely to give a little taste of what to expect from the film. The beauty of trailer is that it doesn’t give out the entire plot but significant pointers; something which isn’t seen in any most of the trailers from Pakistani film industry. Let’s see if the film manages to create a good impact at the box office or not. From the shots, execution and grading the trailer seems quite impressive.

Trailer Review: Parwaaz Hai Junoon

It won’t be wrong to say that on coming Eid Al Azha, three different films (JPNA 2, Load Wedding & PHJ) will be hitting the cinema screen with three different subjects and plots (Rom-com, subject oriented, patriotism); which is a positive sign for the Pakistani film industry.
