Muniba Mazari Walks Again
Muniba Mazari took her first few steps in 10 years with the help of robotic support
The extraordinary Muniba Mazari walked her first steps in 10 years with the help of robotic support in Gaylord Hospital while her siblings looked on with pride. This must be a life turning moment for Muniba Mazari and her family. Becoming physically challenged at the young age of 21, she never fazed under the pressure even when the sympathies of people were more discouraging than helping her. She has made a name for herself as an activist, a motivational speaker, and as an artist. She also is the first wheel chaired bound model of Pakistan. Muniba Mazari is also the National Ambassador for UN Women Pakistan.

Muniba Mazari tweeted pictures and then a video of her walking with the aid of robotic support called ReWalk.
Dear all,
Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes. Here’s a small video of how Rewalk works! It was truly a wonderful experience. Thank you @ReWalk_Robotics and my amazing medical team for this! #gratitude pic.twitter.com/xAgQsxbAGi— Muniba Mazari (@muniba_mazari) May 19, 2018

ReWalk is an amazing concept.
“ReWalk is a battery-powered system features a light, wearable exoskeleton with motors at the hip and knee joints. The ReWalker controls movement using subtle changes in her center of gravity. A forward tilt of the upper body is sensed by the system, which initiates the first step. Repeated body shifting generates a sequence of steps which mimics a functional natural gait of the legs.” Excerpt from the ReWalk website.
This technology has helped people all over the world and we, at Media Magick are glad and forever grateful to ReWalk to help Muniba Mazari stand on her feet once again.
